About the event
As an expansion of my ongoing project ‘until between’, this hybrid sound-performance participatory workshop with philosopher and visual artist Jóhannes Dagsson explores personal yet universal questions of belonging, language, and what it means to have multiple or no homes. Collective listening and simple improvisational exercises using sound, voice, and text will take place using concepts of absence, perception, and the conditions under which meaning is formed. Through this session, participants are invited to decentralise the traditional hierarchy between performer and audience, foregrounding listening as an active, collaborative, and relational act, co-creating ‘in-between’ spaces where knowledge, identity, and meaning remain fluid and open.
